Vid Šuštar

Vid ŠuštaI have investigated the biology of membranes; simple artificial phospholipid membranes, attachment mechanisms of cells to substrates, membrane vesiculation and also the interaction of various nanoparticles and cell membranes. At UNG the focus of my research became the development of recombinant multifunctional antibodies for uses such as cancer therapy or for detection of pathogens in fluids with the use of microfluidic devices. In addition I am working on isolation and activity characterisation of oxidative stress enzymes of plants exposed to different temperature regimes, assessed also with antibodies.
